Chuck studied music at U-Mass and the New School for Social Research in New York, with saxophone greats Archie Shepp, George Coleman, Yusef Lateef, and pianist Barry Harris. He has worked with George Benson, the Count Basie Orchestra, Donald Byrd, Ray Charles, Al Green, the Temptations, the Chi-Lites, Solomon Burke, pop artists En Vogue, and blues artists Mighty Sam McClain and Toni Lynne Washington.
In addition to being a great saxophonist/performer (he and Shawn crack us up all the time), he has just released his first solo recording, "That's Wassup" on Blue Canoe records. He's also an accomplished teacher.
